When King Attalus III of Pergamum died, he left all his wealth to the people of Rome. Pergamum was one of the richest cities in the world back then, and Tiberius wanted to use the money from Pergamum to fund his agrarian law. This was a bad for Senate power and the Senate’s hate for Tiberius began to increase.
Gaius Gracchus
He founded new colonies in Italy and Carthage. He made a law that no Romans under age 17 would be allowed, And the State pays for Military needs. Like his brother, he also funded state-subsidized grain.
